Please scroll down for a location map.
Every Thursday at Bolehill Recreation Ground (lower pitch), 6.30pm.
Absolutely anyone is welcome to attend these games, regardless of age, gender or experience. Teams will be created to be as even as possible out of whoever shows up to play, and the session will last for an hour or two (light depending).
Please bring both a light and a dark t-shirt with you.
NB. Pickup will be on regardless of the weather.
If you are after a more intense session of Ultimate, why not try attending one of the Steal training sessions?!
These sessions will usually take place in Hillsborough Park on a Saturday morning and will include a number of drills to improve gameplay as well as some fitness. The sessions usually last for about three hours.
As with the evening pickup games, the sessions are open to ALL and are completely FREE. Please bring a light and a dark t-shirt and plenty of drinks and snacks.
Upcoming Steal Training Dates
Steal sessions will kick off again in the Autumn - watch this space for details.
Training Documents
The following documents are session plans from two of the Steal sessions held earlier in the year. They include useful information regarding some of the drills used and methods of offence and defence.
Monday is Disc Golf day and you will usually find some local frisbeers in Weston Park from 6pm. More of Sheffield's parks will be mapped for golfing purposes over the coming months so keep an eye out for those.
Check out the Disc Golf pages of this site for further information.
NB. Disc Golf tends to be cancelled if the weather is bad, so don't expect to find people playing in the rain!
The map below shows the locations of Bolehill Recreation Ground (near Walkley) and Hillsborough Park. If you scroll down on the map you will also see Endlciffe and Norfolk Parks marked there too.
