Sheffield Ultimate
2008 : Sheffield Summer League
Summer League kicked off in July 2008 with 11 weeks of competition planned between five 5-a-side teams, the aim being to match experienced players with beginners, and have equally-weighted teams competing for the title. A handful of new faces turned up to take part, joining the usual Sheffield Ultimate players.
DC and Vanessa awarded the Summer League trophy.
Sadly, due to low numbers and poor turnouts some weeks, not all the matches were completed during Summer League '08, but the final standings (roughly speaking) were:
